In this workshop for 5 to 7 year olds join Sarah Sloyer and explore the different elements that make up a picture - foreground, background, shape and colour - and see how a character in a picture can tell a story.
Illustration workshop 2
This workshop for 8 to 12 year olds goes a little deeper into the art of illustration. Looking at a composition and thinking about how what's in the background says something about what's in the foreground. Join Sarah Sloyer and work on creating a picture that tells a story.
